Welcome
We want to welcome everyone to the University of Texas at Tyler Psi Chi website. This site is designed for our members as well as perspective members and those interested in learning more about Psi Chi.Our chapter is in its rebirth period. Thanks to the officers before us, our chapter was restarted and upon the strng base they built for us, this year's officers will go farther and accomplish more.
Check back frequently to see all the things that are happening with Psi Chi. And don't forget, if you aren't in Psi Chi but are interested in getting involved, there is APS, Association of Psychology Students. There are no GPA or number oh hours requirements. They work hand in hand with Psi Chi. So take a look around, find something you're interested in and get involved !
Our First
Conference
We are very excited to announce that UT Tyler is going to opffer it's first Psi Chi Student Conference. Right now the tentative date is December 6th. We will have a call for posters and papers, so if youy are working on a project start looking into submitting something to the conference. Submission dates and guidlines will be available soo in the Confernces section.

Research
Right now UT is making a big push towards research. For those of you going to Graduate School, research should be at the top of your list of important things to have done before you start applying. It can be weighted as important, and in some cases moreso, than even your GRE. Check out our research section to learn more.
